MichMet is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of others and believes that the protection of those interests is one of our most significant responsibilities. This Privacy Statement explains how Michigan Metrology, LLC may collect and use personal data from visitors to our website. This Privacy Statement does not apply to data we collect otherwise, such as in personal visits or at events.

Actively Submitted Data

If you email us or fill out a form on our website, you will know the information you provide and actively submit it to us. We use such information to respond to your request and to assist you. We may also from time to time contact you with information or event notifications that we believe are pertinent to you.

Passively Provided Data

When you access our site you automatically provide certain information from and about your computer or mobile device, including the pages you visit on our site, the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system or browser), IP address, access times and the web page from which you linked to our site. We use tracking technology (“cookies”) on the site to help us complete downloads of the information you request. We also use Google Analytics conversion tracking to improve our site and services.

– Temporarily storing form responses when downloading file

When you fill out a form to download a file, your responses are stored in cookies on your device for 24 hours. If you request to download another file during this time range the form will be filled out with your prior responses to save you time. After 24 hours the cookies expire and your browser should remove them from you device automatically.

We do not rent, sell or otherwise share personal data, except as follows:
